  • This is one of the most common questions I get asked, and the simple answer is - absolutely not! In fact, almost 50% of my clients are 60+, with many only taking up singing for the first time less than a year ago. Check out my testimonials page to hear about their experiences so far. It is never too late to start singing, and the sooner you start the easier it will become. The hardest part is taking that first step and committing to learning - so why wait? Give me a call today to start your singing journey!

  • There is no hard and fast rule, and it primarily depends on your stamina and preferred learning style. I offer 30 minute, 45 minute and 1 hour sessions to suit your needs. For a first session, I usually recommend an hour, as in my experience this allows enough time to chat through your current experience and goals while covering all of the basic fundamentals of singing practice.

  • As frequently or in-frequently as you like! I do not require a weekly or bi-weekly commitment from my students, as I believe that you sing your best when you are doing it for pleasure. While having regular lessons and practicing consistently is ideal, I know as well as anyone that sometimes life gets in the way and that may not always be possible. Singing should always be relaxing and enjoyable, not another chore to tick off the list!

  • This is of course dependant on a number of factors including experience, lesson frequency and commitment to practice, however learning to sing is a long-term journey regardless of your situation. While I aim for my clients to leave every lesson feeling like they have made progress, this is not an overnight transformation. Much like training at the gym, you will build up your strength, stamina and muscle memory incrementally over time. The sooner you start, the sooner you will improve - so what are you waiting for? Get in touch today!

  • All lesson bookings are non-refundable, however they can be rescheduled once for free providing you give at least 24 hours notice. Any lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are not be eligible for rescheduling and will still be charged.
