We are so excited to announce our new tenor, Owen Butcher, who will be joining us in April!

Owen graduated from the University of York with a BA in Music, followed by an MA in Vocal Studies. Whilst in York, Owen embraced contemporary singing, performing roles in a number of musical theatre productions as well as Musical Director/Arranger for the university’s a cappella ensemble.

Since graduating, he has been developing his career as a freelance musician, most notably marking his Off West End debut as Alan Turing in ‘Alan Turing - A Musical Biography’. A few words from Owen:
“I am truly lost for words at how excited I am to be joining this amazing group! To say this is my dream job would be an understatement - I could not be happier and absolutely cannot wait to get started!”

Owen was instantly a fantastic fit for the group with his effortless range, warm energy and breathtaking tone! Please join us in welcoming him to the Swingle family!
